What You Will Learn
This course introduces the student to the Python language. On completion of this class the student should feel comfortable with writing Python programs. The course provides insight to the features of Python that make it an excellent choice for projects of virtually any size
Audience
Any individual who wants to learn the world's most popular programming language - Python
Prerequisites
No requirement. Suitable for non IT background individuals as well
Course Objectives
After completing this course, students will be able to:

Write Python programs dealing with sequences and mappings, program flow control, system calls and file manipulation
Methodology
This program will be presented via interactive lecture and practical hands-on activities.

Part B: Data Analytics with Python
What You Will Learn

An understanding of how data-driven models can improve your ability to make decisions in a fast-paced and uncertain world, and the ability to use modelling to predict future trends.

Tableau data visualisation and reporting skills, with which to clearly communicate your findings and business needs.

A capstone project as proof of your ability to analyse, summarise, visualise, and report on insights extracted from a dataset.

A certificate from the London School of Economics and Political Science as validation of your data analysis skills and knowledge.
Audience
Anyone who wants to use Python programming language to do Data Analysis.
Prerequisites
Python programming knowledge preferred.
Course Objectives
The course will introduce data manipulation and cleaning techniques using the popular python pandas data science library and introduce the abstraction of the Series and Data Frame as the central data structures for data analysis, along with tutorials on how to use functions such as group by, merge, and pivot tables effectively. By the end of this course, participants will be able to take tabular data, clean it, manipulate it, and run basic inferential statistical analyses.

This program will be presented via interactive lecture and practical hands-on activities.
